Sports physicals for the 24-25 school year will take place on Tuesday, May 14, beginning at 12:30 pm, in the CHS Nursing Room. Those students who wish to have a physical must have the form completed in its entirety and returned to Mrs. Winslow by Monday, May 13. There will be a limited number of spots available.

Southside Virginia Community College is offering a Summer STEM Camp for all high school students from May 20 - May 23 at the Keysville campus. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation is provided. Interested students need to complete a registration form which is located in the high school office. The registration form needs to be returned by May 6 to the high school office. A flyer is attached for additional information.

This Week in Sports - April 29

Cumberland High School will broadcast the Class of 2024 Graduation exercises using the NFHS network (https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/) beginning at 6:45 pm on Friday, May 10, 2024. The broadcast will be free of charge, but will require those wishing to view the program to sign up with a username and password using the link above. Once a username and password is secured, then sign in, search for Cumberland High School, and choose Graduation from the viewing options.

Congratulations to the Duke Forensics Team! The team earned the 2nd place trophy, and the following students will compete at the state competition on March 23rd in Sterling, VA.

Levi Dayton earned 2nd in Prose
Autumn Seaver and Emily Eroh won 1st place in Humorous Duo
