Our Marching Dukes came away from the Midlothian competition this evening with 1st place color guard, 1st place percussion, 2nd place visual, 2nd place general effect, and 2nd place music in class 1A. Congratulations to Mr. Cosley and our students!
HOSA students attended the State Fair and participated in the HOSA Ed Expo on Friday, October 4, 2024. Jakayla Minter won second place for her poster presentation on ethical Dilemmas in Healthcare related to AI. Congratulations to Jakayla, and thank you to HOSA students and Mrs. Winslow for representing Cumberland High School.

Attendance & Discipline Matters-Field Trip
Beginning on September 16 and ending on December 6, any student with no discipline referrals and no more than 2 absences will be eligible to attend a movie at Sunchase Cinema 8 Theatre in Farmville, paid for by the CHS. This will be held during the school day on December 19.
We are excited about this and hope that all of our students will strive to be able to attend this event with their classmates.
