Hello CHS Parents and Students!
On Monday, February 23rd, and Monday, March 2nd, in the cafetorium, at 5:30 PM sharp, we will be hosting viewings of the 90-minute Parent/Teen Safe Driving Video. This video is a requirement for students to be able to receive their driver's license and their attendance will be documented to satisfy this requirement. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for this to count. You only have to attend one viewing. Please enter through the middle school doors and arrive at least 5 minutes in advance if you plan on attending. If you have any questions, please contact me! Thank you!

Join us for an inspiring morning at High Bridge Trail State Park as we “RUN High Bridge” in support of Cumberland County students and teachers. This unique 5K, starting at the park’s new High Bridge Station and featuring an out-and-back route across the legendary High Bridge, is more than just a race—it is a chance to invest in brighter futures. Every step you take helps fund Scholarships for Cumberland County School graduates and Grants for dedicated teachers, making a real difference in our community.

With professional timing by Riverside Runners, age‑group awards, and an event t‑shirt for participants who register by February 23, this is a perfect event for runners and walkers of all levels. Please see the flyer for registration information.

Good evening, CHS Families,

I hope everyone is warm and safe. Please be advised that due to school closures, we do not have after-school activities or athletics.
We will update the athletic schedule as it becomes available. Please stay safe.

Due to icy conditions on secondary roads throughout the county and predicted temperatures this evening, Cumberland County Public Schools will continue with remote learning on Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29. There will be no athletics or after-school programs.

We will continue to monitor road conditions and will make a decision regarding Friday no later than noon on Thursday.

Meal Pickup Reminder
The middle school entrance will be open tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for families who would like to pick up meals for their school-age children.
Water Access
Any community member without access to water is welcome to bring water jugs or containers to the school to fill during those same hours.
