Five Cumberland High School students participated in a one-day interest camp with Trane Technologies on July 17. The interest camp introduced the young ladies into the energy efficiency field. Several Trane staff members were on site to share their educational and work experience with our students about the energy industry.
Summer football conditioning will begin July 10, and will run Monday through Thursday, from 5:30-8:00. Players will meet at the locker room by the game field each day. Players should make sure they have physical and concussion forms on file with the school (or bring them to the first practice). Football conditioning is open to students who will be in Grades 8-12 for the 2023-2024 school year.
Lifetouch has a promotion occurring from July 1-4, 2023 for anyone who would like to place an order for commencement photos.
Volleyball conditioning will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Cumberland High School, from 5:30-7:00 pm, beginning on July 11, 2023. Please meet in the hallway across from the high school gym. Official practices will begin on Monday July 31, 2023 (time TBD). Be sure to have physical forms on file.
Boys and Girls Basketball Camp, June 29-July 1
Rising 10th, 11th, & 12th graders and parents, CHS will show a Drivers Ed 90-minute video on June 5th, 6th & 7th at 5pm and 7pm on each day. Students wanting a license MUST attend at least one of these sessions. Please call 804-492-4212 ext. 3 to speak with Ms. Trent or Ms. Long
Report cards will be sent out next week. Students who received a Summer School letter, should wait until they receive their report card to see if they need Summer school for a core course or SOL that they did not pass. If so, they will need to attend Summer school. Thank you.
