🚨 Weather Update – Cumberland County Public Schools 🚨 Due to icy conditions on secondary roads throughout the county and predicted temperatures this evening, Cumberland County Public Schools will continue with remote learning on Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29. We will continue to monitor road conditions and will make a decision regarding Friday no later than noon on Thursday.
🍎 Meal Pickup Reminder The middle school entrance will be open tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for families who would like to pick up meals for their school-age children.
💧 Water Access Any community member without access to water is welcome to bring water jugs or containers to the school to fill during those same hours. Please stay safe and stay warm. ❄️

Based on the weather forecast, we are anticipating school closures for next week. Students will receive work and instructions from their teachers tomorrow to bring home. In addition, students will have the opportunity to pick up meals tomorrow before dismissal, equivalent to two days of meals at school. If the storm is as bad as forecasted, and schools are not opened by Wednesday, we will have the availability for families to come to the high school/middle school complex to pick up meals Wednesday through Friday. The hours for this service will be from 11:00 to 1:00.
