Administrative Professional Day is the perfect day to announce that Ms. Lee will be retiring on June 30th from CuCPS after 36 years of dedicated service. We are incredibly grateful for all she has done for the CuCPS family over the years. Her contributions and commitment have truly made a difference, and we will miss her deeply.
Though we’ll miss having her around, we know Ms. Lee is ready for the next chapter in her life. Ms. Lee, please enjoy this well-deserved time for yourself – but we all know your #DukePride is forever.

🎉 Congratulations, William Fleenor! 🎉
Cumberland County Public Schools and CHA FFA are proud to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of William Fleenor at the Virginia FFA State Tractor Driving Contest and the inaugural Skid Steer Operators Contest!
🚜 At the state competition, William:
Finished 2nd in Virginia for the two-wheel wagon portion
Placed 3rd in the state on the written exam
Ranked 12th in the state in the four-wheel wagon portion
And earned a spot in the Top 10 overall in the state!
Despite a tough four-wheel wagon round, William’s overall scores were strong, and he’s already looking ahead to next year with the goal of claiming that state title!
💪 In the first-ever Skid Steer Operator Contest hosted by Virginia FFA, William once again showcased his skill and determination—earning 2nd place in the state!
We are so proud of William for representing Cumberland Duke Nation and CHA FFA with excellence, dedication, and Duke Pride. Congratulations again, William—and thank you to all our FFA members and Coach Fleenor for your hard work and commitment all year long!
