Cumberland County Public Schools will be on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, February 4, pending any potential overnight weather conditions. If bus routes need to be adjusted due to road conditions, families will be contacted this evening by the school division personnel. These adjustments are necessary as some secondary roads remain unsafe for school bus travel. Thank you for your patience and continued partnership as we work to safely resume normal operations.

Due to continued concerns about safely transporting students because of poor conditions on secondary roads, Cumberland Schools will remain closed tomorrow, February 3, 2026.
All staff should report at 10:00 AM. Staff who are unable to make it in, please work with your building level administration.
Hot soup will be available for CuCPS students from 11-1.

Cumberland County Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 2, due to the continued icy conditions on several of our secondary roads. There will be no remote learning. The cafeteria at the complex will be open for meal pick up for families from 11:00 to 1:00. Twelve month employees will report at 10:00.

Good Evening CuCPS Families-- Cumberland County Public Schools will be closed for the remainder of this week, January 29 and 30, 2026. Virtual learning will continue for the next two days. Food pick up will occur again tomorrow and Friday for CuCPS students, from 11 am - 1pm, at the middle school. Families who may need water are encouraged to come between these times. Please be sure to bring a container.

🚨 Weather Update – Cumberland County Public Schools 🚨 Due to icy conditions on secondary roads throughout the county and predicted temperatures this evening, Cumberland County Public Schools will continue with remote learning on Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29. We will continue to monitor road conditions and will make a decision regarding Friday no later than noon on Thursday.
🍎 Meal Pickup Reminder The middle school entrance will be open tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for families who would like to pick up meals for their school-age children.
💧 Water Access Any community member without access to water is welcome to bring water jugs or containers to the school to fill during those same hours. Please stay safe and stay warm. ❄️

Based on the weather forecast, we are anticipating school closures for next week. Students will receive work and instructions from their teachers tomorrow to bring home. In addition, students will have the opportunity to pick up meals tomorrow before dismissal, equivalent to two days of meals at school. If the storm is as bad as forecasted, and schools are not opened by Wednesday, we will have the availability for families to come to the high school/middle school complex to pick up meals Wednesday through Friday. The hours for this service will be from 11:00 to 1:00.
