Cumberland County Public Schools will resume a normal schedule tomorrow.

The Cumberland County School Board Meeting scheduled for Monday, February 9, 2026, is being rescheduled. A date will be announced soon.

Good afternoon, based on current road conditions and the predicted overnight temperatures Cumberland County Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 9. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to monitor our road conditions. Stay warm and stay safe.

Due to the current road conditions, we cannot jeopardize the safety of our students and transportation staff. We will not be sending buses out. We are asking parents and guardians to please pick up their child as soon as it is safely possible. Staff will be on hand to monitor students and we will feed students. Please reach out to schools with any questions.

Good afternoon families. Due to the snow fall that has begun and is predicted to last until approximately 5 PM, the CuCPS transportation department is working on lining up transportation and as soon as buses are in place, we will dismiss school.
