Good evening CMS Families,
It has been great to have students back in the building!
Demographic update forms were sent home with your student today. If you have any updates to addresses or contact information, please complete the form and return it to school with your student. Completed forms should be returned to the middle school office. If your student did not bring home a form, they will be receiving it tomorrow.
Also, a few reminders about our dismissal procedures for parent pick up. Car rider dismissal time is 2:50pm. Students will exit the main doors of the middle school. We ask that caregivers please wait until their student exits the building, and not to enter the school. When picking up your student, please park in the lower parking lot – please DO NOT wait in the bus loop. Any student who has not been picked up by the time buses have arrived (around 3:00pm), will reenter the school building and wait for bus riders to dismiss. After the departure of all buses, remaining students will then be released and will exit the main doors of the middle school. For the safety of students and parents/guardians, everyone is asked to refrain from walking in between parked buses. For more details on dismissal procedures, please visit our school webpage.
Thank you for your continued partnership in educating your students. Go Dukes!

Families, as a reminder, dismissal can be a hectic time for a school building. That is why we ask that you pick up your child prior to 2:45 if you need to check them out for the day. Requests taken after 2:45 will require families to wait until after buses have been loaded and departed from the complex. This will allow all our students to exit the building and get to their buses and parent rides safely. We thank you for your help in this matter and appreciate all you do for your child and their education.
Remember, at CMS, we are respectful, responsible, and purposeful. We look forward to having a great week. Go Dukes!
