Here's what's happening each day:

Tuesday: Pajama Day -- get comfy in your favorite PJs!

Wednesday: Twin Day-- grab a friend and match from head to toe.

Thursday: Pink Out-- show your support and school spirit by wearing your brightest pink!

Friday: Blue and Gold Day-- let's flood the halls with Duke pride!

All CMS students and their families are invited to join us for our final Family Engagement Event of the school year this Thursday, April 17th, from 4:00–6:00 PM. Our amazing fifth-grade team will be hosting a fun-filled SOL Eggstravaganza! Bring your student(s) out for an afternoon of games, prizes, and sweet treats.

Good afternoon CMS Families, We hope you all had a wonderful spring break, and we are excited to welcome back students tomorrow! We have a lot of exciting dates coming up this week. Wednesday, April 9th is “Purple-Up Day”, where we will wear Purple to recognize and celebrate military children and their resilience. Any student with a parent or guardian who is an active or former member of one of the U.S. military branches, is encouraged to stop by the main office to let us know. Also, we have two home Baseball and Softball games this week. Games are on Wednesday the 9th and Thursday the 10th. Both games start at 4:30 and are held at the Cumberland Rec fields. Lastly, the NJHS is sponsoring a 7th and 8th grade dance the evening of Friday, April 11th. The cost is $5 to attend. Signed parent permission slips and money are due no later than Thursday the 10th, and can be turned into either Ms. Wiesner or Ms. Ames. We look forward to a great week. Go Dukes!

Good evening, Elective registration forms for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year were sent home with students today, Thursday, March 27th. Please review and complete these with your child. Completed forms are due no later than April 10th. Forms should be returned to our School Counselor, Ms. Sacra, in the main office. Thank you.

Good evening CMS Families, The 6th grade team will be sponsoring a "Valentine's Day...Observed" family engagement event tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18th from 4 - 6 in the cafetorium. This is to make up for all those who missed out on Valentine’s day due to the storms and power-outages. We will have crafts and light snacks. All middle school students and families are invited. Also, please remember to return any of your completed Remote School Day work. Go Dukes!
