2025 VHSL Class 1 and Class 2 state wrestling information
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The following information assists spectators, teams, and media attending the Class 1 and Class 2 state wrestling championships on Saturday, March 1, at Virginia High in Bristol. A Virginia High campus map with parking instructions is attached and linked below.
Coaches/Participants- This is for Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Lots 1 and 2 are for parking.
Additional street parking is available on Green Acres Dr.
Full-size buses are instructed to park on the right side of designated bus parking- the orange bus lane is marked on the map. Please note this is Bearcat Drive and not Hammack Alley.
Lot 1 — follow the sidewalk towards the track, proceed towards the school, and enter between the pool and auditorium. Doors will open at 6:00 am.
Lot 2 — follow the sidewalk beside the science wing and enter a single door. Doors will open at 6:00 am.
Teams can set up food in the auxiliary gym. Some tables may be available. Please, NO FOOD or DRINKS on warm-up mats.
State Pass Holders
VHSL/VHSCA/VSBA/ and other state pass holders may enter through designated pass gates near the marked spectator entrances. All pass holders will be asked to sign in and use their wrist band to access the arena. Members of the media will enter through the pass holder gates as well. They will be asked to sign in and wear wristband for the duration of the event.
Spectators
Please note that red stars designate Entrances. Gates will open at 7 am.
Bags are subject to inspection.
Parking in lots 3, 4, and 5. In addition, additional parking is available on the sides of Long Crescent Dr and Green Acres Dr.
Overflow parking is available at State Street United Methodist Church.
Additional overflow parking and shuttle service available at Gene Malcolm Stadium lot located at 1501 Euclid Ave, Bristol, VA 24201. Shuttles will run every 20 minutes.

VHSL cancels all state championships for this weekend.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — As a result of the weather conditions and its aftermath across the Commonwealth, the VHSL is canceling all state championship events for gymnastics, swimming and diving, and wrestling scheduled for Sunday and Monday. The VHSL will continue to prioritize everyone's safety and well-being. As a result, the VHSL will now hold its state championships for gymnastics, swimming and diving, and wrestling next week with an announcement of dates, locations, and schedules to follow as soon as possible.
