Ms. Wrenn's driver education classes have been learning., Students went to the CuCPS transportation shop to learn from our mechanics on how to change a tire, check tire pressure, jump a car, check oil, and identify fluid container/reservoirs.
Yesterday, the students completed a Distracted Driving Simulation with VA State Troopers and YOVASO (Youth of Virginia Speak Out (YOVASO) about Traffic Safety). They had to drive through a course while being distracted by music, items in path, passengers, cell phones etc. to represent and show them how detrimental these distractions can be on the road. Thank you to everyone for making these learning opportunities happen. #WeAreCuCPS
