Last week, our CHS FFA Officer Team traveled to Dinwiddie HS for the Southeast Area Chapter Officer Leadership Training (C.O.L.T.) Conference! Officers B. Robison (President), R. Elder (VP), T. Bowman (Secretary), S. Skeens (Treasurer), W. Fleenor (Sentinel), K. Kelsey (Student Advisor), M. Adkins (Reporter), and S. Price (Chaplain) joined students from across the area to engage with Virginia State Officers and develop leadership skills.
During the conference, attendees learned about active listening, FFA history, and how to improve their chapters. President Robison said, “I enjoy these events because they help us identify areas for growth and bring new ideas back to our chapter.”
The team is excited for the 24-25 school year and looks forward to upcoming events like FFA Day at the Capitol. Let’s cheer them on as they continue to grow as leaders and make a positive impact on our community! 🌟
