Tavion may be new but he’s mastered all Duke expectations. His teacher says that he loves to learn facts and build his vocabulary. He likes to help his peers in need while she’s teaching small groups too! We’re so glad that he’s a Duke! #GoodNewsCalloftheDay #ccesdukes #iamcucps

Yesterday, over 40 students from Cumberland, Prince Edward, and Fuqua participated in the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce (includes Cumberland) 2022 Youth Summit at Hampden Sydney College. Students learned about investments, financing, marketing, business start up, and entrepreneurship. Special thank you to Toby Towler of Luck Stone for arranging the key note speaker that focused on students finding their passion, creating their story, and choices. Students heard from a panel of community business owners about their stories.
