Robotics update from Coach Jones--We had a really great time competing at Churchland High School in Portsmouth this weekend for our final qualifier of the season. The team tied for 5th in a field of 29 teams but was eliminated in Match 9 of the finals.
I received a TON of compliments on our students, their competency, and this season's robot. Both the students and their robot behaved beautifully.
We are currently placed 35th in the VA/DC/MD District but that will change as other teams accrue points this weekend at their final competitions. If we end up in the top 60, we'll travel to the District Championship at George Mason University in a couple of weeks. #WeAreCuCPS
