The CHS Envirothon team traveled to Holiday Lake 4-H camp to compete in the Area 4 Envirothon Competition yesterday. This was the largest Area competition to date and our Enviro-Dukes did great. We competed in multiple areas including Soils, Aquatics, Forestry, Special topics (Climate Change), and Wildlife, and they presented an oral presentation on adapting to climate change. Our Enviro-Dukes Finished 1st in Aqautics, 2nd in soils, and 3rd in Wildlife. Overall our team finished Third and once again qualified for the state competition for the third year in a row!!! Our team will now move onto the state competition at VSU on May 21-22. Please congratulate team members when you see them: Cole Dalton, Brianna Barker, Phillip Cross, Mark Tuttle, Celeste Mitchell, Tucker Bowman, and Kaitlynne Kelsey. We are very proud of our team and their accomplishments, GO DUKES!!!
