Cumberland High School

Due to icy conditions on secondary roads throughout the county and predicted temperatures this evening, Cumberland County Public Schools will continue with remote learning on Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29. There will be no athletics or after-school programs.

We will continue to monitor road conditions and will make a decision regarding Friday no later than noon on Thursday.

Meal Pickup Reminder
The middle school entrance will be open tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for families who would like to pick up meals for their school-age children.
Water Access
Any community member without access to water is welcome to bring water jugs or containers to the school to fill during those same hours.

New safety protocols will occur at events taking place at Cumberland County Public Schools. The document attached outlines the safety measures.

Heart of Virginia College Night

Please encourage your child to register for a barcode using this link: StriveFair.com.
During the event, if your child wants to connect with an organization, the representative will scan his/her barcode.

The following day, students will receive a report with information on the organizations with which they scanned. This report email can be a great conversation starter in future advising meetings with your students!

The 90-minute Driver Education parent/student video will take place at 5:30 in the cafeteria.
