Please join me in congratulating our junior and senior Livestock Club members for their impressive performance at the 4-H and FFA combined state competition hosted by Block and Bridle at Virginia Tech. Our senior team leader finished in the top 25 in the state, while first-time competitor Sarah Roberts, an 8th grader, outscored all other seniors with an impressive 380 points.
In the junior category, Anna Fleenor was the highest-scoring member across all teams, finishing as a top ten high-scorer for sheep and goats. She ranked 13th overall in the state, with a final score of 398. The highest score in the competition was 427.
All of our members did an outstanding job representing CHS FFA. We look forward to competing again at the 100th State Convention in June. Thank you, Mr. Fleenor, for your hard work. Go Dukes!
