Good evening, CHS Family!
CHSFFA had a great weekend at the Piedmont Junior Area Livestock Show (PJALS). This year, we had four Students from CHS and CMS compete in this year's show. This year, we had Competitors showing heifers and steers in dairy and beef. As well as market goats and showmanship classes. Our students work diligently preparing their animals for the show ring. This means early mornings and late evenings, feeding, grooming, halter breaking, exercising, getting sponsorship, building connections, and caring for their livestock. The work, commitment, and dedication required to get an animal from a young age and prepare it to go into a show ring build characteristics and responsibilities in young people like nothing else. Our students put that full effort in and found great success in the ring at the Piedmont Area Junior Livestock Show— huge thanks to Mr. Fleenor for his hard work with our students.
Please congratulate these students on their success!!!!! GO DUKES!!!!!!
