The Cumberland High School (CHS) Dukes Varsity Boys Basketball team concluded a highly successful 2025-2026 season. The team members were the district regular season champions and progressed to the regional semifinal game. They completed the season by winning the James River District Tournament Championship on February 18, 2026, with an 81-48 victory over Buckingham High School. The team finished the season at 19-4 with multiple championships and individual awards. The following members of the CHS Basketball Team were recognized at the April meeting of the Cumberland School Board:
