Under the direction of Coach Kenneth Jasey, the Girls Indoor Track team from Cumberland High School competed in the Class 1 Indoor Track Competition held on March 4-5, 2026, at Liberty University. Ma’Kiya Hawkins was the state runner-up in pole vaulting and Jayla Augustin placed third in the shot put. Both girls had set school records in both events. The girls were recognized for their accomplishments at the April 9, 2026, meeting of the Cumberland School Board.
