Each month during the regularly scheduled meeting, the Cumberland School Board recognizes the Students of the Month for each school. Students recognized at the meeting held on January 8, 2026, include the following:
• Jayceon Smith, Kindergartener at Cumberland Elementary School, son of _Brandon and Jennifer Smith, of Cumberland.
• Regan Rogers, eighth grader at Cumberland Middle School, daughter of Amanda Brandt, of Cumberland.
• Lucy Stone, tenth grader at Cumberland High School, daughter of Michael and Mylinda Stone, of Farmville.
