New teachers for Cumberland County Public Schools (CuCPS) arrived for the start of the 2025-2026 school year on July 30, 2025. The division hosted a New Teacher Institute, where teachers learned about the mission, vision, goals, and policies of CuCPS. They were given tours of the schools and then met with their mentors for the upcoming year during a mentor/mentee luncheon.
