At the May meeting of the Cumberland School Board, Taylor’s Septic Service was presented with a Helping Hands Award for their generous and continued support of Cumberland County Public Schools. The school division had reached out to the community in hopes of soliciting funding for new picnic tables for the outdoor learning and activity space. Penny Taylor of Taylor’s Septic Service did not hesitate to step up. She graciously offered to fund the entire project—donating almost $6,000 to provide high-quality outdoor picnic tables for students. These tables now give the children a welcoming space to learn, collaborate, and enjoy fun activities outside the traditional classroom setting.
Taylor’s Septic Service has been a long-time partner of CuCPS, consistently demonstrating their commitment to the success and well-being of the students. Superintendent Chip Jones stated, “Their support has made a real difference in the lives of young people across our division. We are incredibly fortunate to be part of a community that values education and understands the importance of investing in our future. Thank you, Taylor’s Septic Service, for all you do—you truly exemplify what it means to lend a helping hand.”
The School Board also extended a sincere thanks to the Maintenance Department for assembling and installing the tables.
