Each month during the regularly scheduled meeting, the Cumberland School Board recognizes the Students of the Month for each school. Students recognized at the meeting held on May 1, 2025, included the following:
• London Gutierrez, third grader at Cumberland Elementary School, daughter of Raphael and Sara Gutierrez of Cartersville.
• Kinsley Burns, fifth grader at Cumberland Middle School, daughter of Jonathan and Nia Burns of Cartersville.
• Promise Smith, twelfth grader at Cumberland High School, daughter of Myisha Smith of Cartersville.
