The Cumberland County Public Schools Forensics Team was recognized at the meeting of the School Board on March 28, 2024. Team members were congratulated on finishing in first place overall in 1A/1B Regional Competition and finishing in second place overall at State competition, bringing home the State Runner-up trophy.
Individual achievements at the Regional Tournament included the following:

Brianna Barker—2nd place in Extemporaneous Speaking
Levi Dayton—2nd place in Prose Interpretation
Emily Eroh—1st place in Humorous Duo
Cameron Gold—3rd place in Humorous Duo
Esther Jiang—3rd place in Humorous Duo
Autumn Seaver—1st place in Humorous Duo
Kamaria West—3rd place in Storytelling
