Virginia Learns Anywhere

In an effort to support Virginia educators, VDOE created the Continuity for Learning (C4L) Task Force consisting of teachers, leaders, and collaborating educational partners across Virginia. The C4L Task Force has prepared Virginia Learns Anywhere which reinforces much-needed structure while also empowering individual teachers to support students in learning remotely. The C4L Task Force encourages divisions to develop and implement continuous learning plans in partnership with local county health departments, families, staff, and local boards of education.
Deeper LearningDeeper Learning Video Series

The Deeper Learning video series illustrates deeper learning across the Commonwealth of Virginia. These segments were designed to provide real-life examples of teachers implementing deeper learning and how it looks in a variety of settings.This series was produced by WHRO Education in partnership with Jobs for the Future, Inc., the Virginia Department of Education, and with generous funding support from The William and Flora.  Follow this Link

Comprehensive Instructional Program

Welcome to the Comprehensive Instructional Program (CIP). The CIP is a consortium of public school divisions in Virginia working collaboratively to improve student achievement as measured by Virginia's Standards of Learning assessments. The CIP is designed to help instructors by providing activities and assessments that are highly aligned to Virginia's Curriculum Frameworks in content and rigor. These resources have been submitted by teachers who have demonstrated superior performance as evidenced by their students' scores on Virginia's SOL assessments. The CIP also analyzes data across the consortium to identify successful schools and divisions and share their practices with other consortium members. Follow this link
