The week of October 7th through the 11th is National Farm to School Week. Each day, we will be featuring a different locally grown fruit or vegetable. On October 9th is the 4th Annual Big Crunch Day. The cafeteria will be providing apples to all staff and students on that morning.

Farm to School

The high school and middle school cafeteria partnered with the agriculture class to provide micro greens to the weekly salad bar. Starting in Spring 2019, the agriculture class will be providing lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

Virginia Grown

The cafeteria continues to serve fresh fruits and vegetables, such as apples, lettuces, and squash, grown in the great state of Virginia. Our fruit and vegetable varieties will be updated as the seasons change.

Cafeteria staff members supported "Pink Out" Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
