    Amy Griffin is serving as Superintendent of Cumberland County Public Schools. She has been in education for 28 years working in Cumberland and Nottoway public school divisions. Dr. Griffin has served as Assistant Superintendent, Director of Instruction, Director of Special Education, elementary principal, and elementary teacher. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and an endorsement in Administration and Supervision from Longwood University. In December 2009, Dr. Griffin completed her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech. Dr. Griffin prides herself on holding high expectations as well as the necessary supports for all students and staff.

    Executive Assistant to the Superintendent

    Mrs. Lee began as Attendance Secretary at Cumberland High School in 1989. She served in this capacity for 16 years. Prior to service as the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent in January 2007, Mrs. Lee was the Administrative Assistant to Human Resources. Mrs. Lee is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Superintendent's office and provides correspondence support to the five-member School Board. Mrs. Lee received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Education degree from Strayer University.
